The Murcian Rugby Federation (FERRMUR), in collaboration with the Department of Physical Activity and Sports of Las Torres de Cotillas, organizes a course of monitors of the sport on November 30 and December 1. It is a course that will offer its participants training in the rugby of initiation and in the organization of base categories. “This course of monitors enables to train school teams, that is, up to sub-12”, explains the councilor of the area, Ginés Pérez, who highlights the roots of this sport in Las Torres de Cotillas.
The course, which costs 40 euros, will require a minimum of 10 enrolled and a maximum of 20. It will be taught in the municipal field of natural grass Torreño municipality on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning and afternoon. “One of the pillars on which our sports management project is based is training, as we believe it is the only one for our rugby to rise in level”, they point out from FERRMUR.
“Our municipality has the ‘Las Torres Club de Rugby’ association, which promotes this sport with great success and has a school of initiation to this sport aimed at children from 5 years old”, Pérez recalls.
